THE UNION WAS ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE REASONABLE WORKING CONDITIONS AND TO SETTLE DISPUTES BETWEEN EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES. THE UNION'S MEMBERSHIP IS COMPRISED OF CERTIFIED ELECTRICIANS WORKING AT PUBLIC UTILITIES LOCATED THROUGHOUT NEW YORK STATE AS WELL AS PRODUCTION, MAINTENANCE, CLERICAL, AND TECHNICAL WORKERS.
