GOING INTO ITS SECOND YEAR, THIS STATE-WIDE PROJECT REQUESTS AN INCREASE FROM 9 TO 15 VISTAS PLUS ONE VISTA LEADER, FOR A TOTAL OF 16 VISTAS. ONE OF THE 15 WILL BE DESIGNATED AS THE OPIOID ADDICTION RESOURCE VISTA. COMBINED, THE 16 VISTAS WILL CONTINUE THE WORK OF YEAR 1 (2018) -- TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY OF TEN FREE AND CHARITABLE CLINICS AS WELL AS PROVIDE A NEW DEDICATED VISTA WHO WILL ASSESS THE IMPACT OF OPIOID ADDICTION ON ILLINOIS' FREE AND CHARITABLE CLINICS AND SERVE AS AN OPIOID ADDICTION RESOURCE TO PARTICIPATING IAFCC MEMBER CLINICS. AS A RESULT OF THE VISTA PROJECTS, PARTICIPATING CLINICS WILL BE ABLE TO WORK WITH VISTAS TO EXPAND UPON THEIR WORK FROM YEAR 1.
