THE OVERALL OBJECTIVE IS TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES THROUGHOUT RHODE ISLAND BY CREATING AND OPERATING AN ACCREDITATION PROGRAM FOR THE PURPOSES OF ORGANIZING AND MAINTAINING EDUCATIONAL, TRAINING AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES THAT ARE FOCUSED ON ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING STANDARDS FOR THE OPERATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT.
