THE PROPOSED WORKSHOP FOCUSES ON PLANKTON DYNAMICS AS PART OF THE OCEAN FOOD CHAIN AND CARBON CYCLE. THE WORKSHOP WILL BRING TOGETHER A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM TO IDENTIFY ELEMENTS REQUIRED FOR A MULTI-YEAR IMPLEMENTATION OF AN OBSERVING AND ANALYSES SYSTEM FOCUSED ON IMPROVED UNDERSTANDING OF THE BASE OF THE FOOD CHAIN.
