OUR VETERANCENTERED MODEL PAIRS COMPREHENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT WITH SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT, INFORMED BY EACH PERSONS GOALS AND STRENGTHS. EARLY OUTREACH IN SHELTERS, CLINICS, VFW POSTS, AND RESOURCE CENTERS, PLUS INTERNAL PROGRAMSHOUSING BENEFITS NAVIGATION, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH LINKAGES, AND MOBILE SHOWERS LAUNDRYADDRESS BARRIERS AND PREPARE VETERANS TO PURSUE LOCALLY ALIGNED EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES THAT PROMOTE LASTING STABILITY. HVRP ACTIVITIES INCLUDE TARGETED OUTREACH (SHELTERS, CLINICS, VFW, RESOURCE CENTERS), INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT, AND DIRECT REFERRALS FOR SERVICES THAT MEET ESSENTIAL NEEDS, PROMOTE HOUSING STABILITY, AND REMOVE BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT. EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS DELIVER ASSESSMENTS, JOB READINESS, INDIVIDUALIZED PLANS, AND REFERRALS TO TRAINING AND REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS (RAPS) ALIGNED WITH LOCAL LABOR-MARKET DEMAND. SERVICES ALSO INCLUDE JOB DEVELOPMENT, APPLICATION AND INTERVIEW SUPPORT, COMPETITIVE PLACEMENT, AND RETENTION SERVICES. FUNDS FURTHER STRENGTHEN EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT AND COORDINATION WITH HUDVASH, VA MEDICAL CENTER, SSVF, DENVER WORKFORCE SERVICES AJCS, COMMUNITY PARTNERS, TRAINING PROVIDERS, AND MDHI. THIS HVRP PROJECT WILL SERVE VETERANS WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO WOMEN, VETERANS WITH CHILDREN, VETERANS WITH A HISTORY OF JUSTICE-INVOLVEMENT, VETERANS WITH DISABILITIES, AND VETERANS FACING OTHER BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT SUCH AS MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES OR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER. SERVICESOURCE WILL SERVE 375 VETERANS OVER THREE (3) YEARS. OUTCOMES INCLUDE: PERCENTAGE OF ENROLLMENTS COMPLETING TRAINING: 55% PERCENTAGE OF EXITERS EARNING WAGES IN THE 2ND QTR AFTER EXIT: 50% PERCENTAGE OF EXITERS EARNING WAGES IN THE 4TH QTR AFTER EXIT: 30% AVERAGE HOURLY RATES OVER THREE YEARS: $25.34 MEDIAN EARNINGS 2ND QUARTER AFTER EXIT: $9,788.76 AVERAGE COST OF PLACEMENT OVER THREE YEARS: $6,666.67.
